If you come in at any time during your birthday month and use your card, the system automatically adds $10 in Bonus Beach Bucks. There is no extra form, no registration step at the desk and no need to ask for it - it simply appears as long as you are playing with your card within that calendar month.
How to Get Started On-Site
All South Beach Casino & Resort bonus activity for the Ocean Club happens at our physical property at One Ocean Drive in Scanterbury, Manitoba, about a half-hour north of Winnipeg along Highway 59. We do not offer online sign-up or remote activation for this program, so there is nothing you need to arrange through a portal before you leave home.
The process once you arrive is straightforward:
- Come to the Ocean Club desk first.
- Show valid government-issued ID so we can create your free membership profile.
- We print your Ocean Club card and hand it to you on the spot.
- The $10 Free Play credit is loaded to your card right away.
- Insert the card into any slot machine before starting your session to ensure your play is rated.
- Beach Bucks begin to accumulate as you play and can be redeemed directly at the machines.
- Check the promotions board inside the casino or speak with our staff about current rotating offers such as Free Play Fridays or Free Play Sundays.

The important detail is that only rated play is counted. Your card must be inserted in the slot machine, and it needs to remain active, for those hours to be tracked and credited toward the threshold. If you play without the card, those sessions do not contribute. It is easy to pull your card and forget to put it back in mid-session, so it is usually best to leave the card in the machine for the full time you are playing.
These monthly vouchers sit on top of the standard Ocean Club discounts for dining and the Gift Shop. So, a member who meets the seven-hour target in a given month still has their everyday 20% dining discount plus the earned $20 food vouchers, which are valid at any of our dining outlets on the property.
